Voting technology design.

BUE 2

The voting technology design for BUE emerged from a new challenge alongside Comitia. Essentially, we created a system capable of being scaled across thousands of units. This innovation allows millions of people to vote with total security. The project demanded a deep technological evolution for implementation across entire cities or countries. For this reason, we focused on improving autonomy and expanding the visual interface. Consequently, we succeeded in presenting more complex electoral ballots in a clear and accessible manner.
The result is a compact, robust, and versatile device. When closed, it functions as an all-terrain briefcase. When opened, it transforms into a universal voting module that is intuitive and solid.

BUE was awarded the Red Dot Design Award in the Product Design category, in the same year Argentina celebrated 40 years of uninterrupted democracy.
It also received special recognition from the Organization of American States (OAS) for its contribution to the quality and transparency of the presidential elections in Paraguay.

Since its implementation, more than 35 million people across Latin America have voted using this system.
